FAQs

Kidical Mass is a worldwide movement. Cyclists from 0 to 99 years old take over the streets to reclaim the road space in colourful bicycle.

It will start at the People's Palace on Glasgow Green, Glasgow, G40 1AT, Scotland.

We will cycle into the city centre, then return to where we started outside the Peoples Palace.

Approximately 4.2km and takes around an hour.

Children ride on the inside of the group and adults on the outside, shielding them from traffic. We have ride leaders at the beginning and end of the group and some along the length. Our ride leaders will manage junctions so that the whole group can cross safely and as a block.
We follow the Highway Code but, where possible, we prevent the group from splitting so if a light goes red while we are crossing our marshals will politely ask cars to wait a bit so that the entire group remains together.
Parents are expected to stay next to their child throughout the ride.
